9/13 Mom + Me: Paint a Pet Studio Experience
Join me for a relaxing afternoon of creativity, connection, and colorful fun as you and your child each create your own custom painted portrait of a beloved pet in my art studio!
I will provide a guided 4 hour art experience designed to help moms and kids slow down, create together, and leave with beautiful artwork you'll be proud to display in your home.
Each participant (mom and child) will paint their own pet portrait while I guide you step-by-step through the entire process. Whether you're an experienced artist or haven't picked up a paintbrush in years, I've got you! My goal is to help everyone feel comfortable, inspired, and surprised by what they can create.
No matter where you fall on the creativity spectrum, you'll receive plenty of encouragement and individual instruction throughout the workshop. Color lovers and neutral lovers alike are welcome here. (Yes... neutrals are colors, too!)
Unlike many children's art activities, you'll each leave with a beautifully framed piece of artwork that's meant to be displayed and enjoyed for years to come. I provide thoughtfully selected frame options so your finished portrait feels like a true keepsake.
What's Included:
One custom pet portrait for Mom
One custom pet portrait for Child
Step-by-step instructions on this reverse painting method
All painting supplies- we will be primarily using acrylic paints
Printed pet reference photos
Beautiful frame for each finished portrait
Light snacks and drinks
Four hours of creative fun together!
Details:
Recommended for ages 6 and up
One registration includes one adult and one child
Additional children may be added for $60 each and will create their own framed pet portrait.
Space is intentionally limited to create a relaxed, personalized experience.
I will provide smocks to protect clothing, but I also recommend you wear something you don’t mind getting paint on accidentally.
Date/Time/Place:
Sunday, September 13th from 2PM - 6PM
Studio 305 in The Silos at Sawyer Yards
(I’ll send a detailed map/parking instructions upon registration)
