Art as Unique as
Your Best Friend
Hi! I’m Dana — a Houston artist with a serious soft spot for turning the pets you love into colorful, personality-filled pieces of art.
My pet portraits aren’t meant to feel stiff or overly traditional. I love capturing the little things that make your pet yours — the floppy ears, crooked smile, soulful eyes, ridiculous fluff, or that very specific expression you know by heart.
I offer different styles of portraits! Choose from a hand-painted acrylic portrait, a colorful oil pastel portrait, or a small charcoal sketch — each created by hand in my signature playful style.
Whether you’re looking for a special piece for your own home, remembering a beloved pet, or giving someone a really meaningful gift, there’s a portrait option for every pup, kitty, bird etc!
Pick your portrait style below, send me your favorite photo, and I’ll take it from there.
Each portrait is hand-sketched from your photo usung oil pastels in my signature bright, expressive style. No two are ever alike.
Fill out the order form below and send me your favorite dog or cat (or even birds or hamsters?!) photo and I’ll create something fun!
A 4 × 6 original quick memorial sketch. Losing a pet is the worst. I’ll make a memorial portrait that captures a little joy with watercolor, oil pastel and a little acrylic paint and marker. Choose between adding a halo or a rainbow over the pets head. I can get them done pretty quickly so you can gift them to a friend (or keep for yourelf). Comes on a small watercolor paper postcard. You can choose to mail it or put in a card or gift as is. They’re easy to frame up.
